Aging is something we all do but understand very little about. Sure, it's easy to make a list of all the changes that come with age. It doesn't happen overnight. It's a process. And during the aging process, 70% of people will need some form of long-term care as they experience age-related changes.
The truth is that there is no "normal aging". Or at least not a rigid set of events that always happen. The aging process is complicated, confusing, and different for everybody. Aging is a decline of biological functions, e.g., "progressive loss of function accompanied by decreasing fertility and increasing mortality with advancing age".
